ADI - Association of Dental Implantology UK

“The ADI is a registered charity dedicated to providing the profession with continuing implant education and the public with a greater understanding of the benefits of dental implants.”

I have been in ADI member since the mid-90s and I am very proud to have served 4 years on the committee as London Region representative. I been lecturing for the ADI's study clubs around the country for some years and it is always a pleasure to meet colleagues around the country in this way. I'm a registered ADI mentor in the London region for all aspects of dental implantology but with special emphasis on the surgical and prosthetic aspects of the Ankylos dental implant system.

I was honoured to be asked by my friend, past ADI President and Director of ADI education Dr Phil Bennett to contribute the implant treatment planning section to the ADI's online web learning course ARK (Application, Resource, Knowledge) for distance learning and education in implant dentistry. Ark was launched in October 2010 at the European Association of Osseointegration meeting in Glasgow.

The ADI remains one of the most important organisations in dentistry in the UK and it is a privilege to have served on the committee and be of this dynamic organisation.
